Allison's
Horses
Arthur
Arthur, born in 1999, is a 17.0 hand tall, liver
chestnut Irish Thoroughbred gelding. With his great
presence, breathtaking movement, and huge jump, this
horse is truly a future star with his eye set on
representing the United States in International Team
Competition.

Arthur has had a spectacular career thus far.
In 2007, a successful 8th place finish in the Jersey
Fresh CCI 3* brought Allison and Arthur substantial
national recognition. The pair was named to the USEF
Developing Rider List and were one of four
Developing Rider combinations selected to train with
the U.S. Squad preparing for the Pan American Games
in Brazil this summer. Allison and Arthur finished
3rd at both the Richland Park Horse Trial Gold Cup
competition and at the American Eventing
Championships, and successfully completed the Fair
Hill International Three Day Event CCI 3 *.
In 2008 Arthur and Allison were named to
the United States Equestrian Team’s Training List. Arthur's exciting
2008 spring season was capped off by a clean cross-country run at
the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event,
his first CCI**** where he also won the Zeppa International Trophy
as Best Turned Out. Arthur finished out his 2008 season with a trip
to Europe to compete in the prestigious Blenheim Three Day Event and
then went onto Deauville, France where he finished 21st in the World
Cup Final. Arthur received further Year End accolades when he was
named the Reserve Champion of the USEA Gold Cup Series at the
Advanced Level.
The 2009 Season is off to a great start! Arthur had another strong
performance at the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event finishing 14th
against some of the best horse and rider combinations in the world.
For the second year in a row Arthur was once again presented with
the Zeppa Trophy for Best Turned out. Arthur and Allison were also
named to the USET Training List and have plans to compete at the
prestigious Burghley CCI**** Three Day Event in England later this
year.
Arthur has an enormously kind and playful soul. Allison has had
Arthur since he was five years old when he was "a bit wild and a
spook!". She has enjoyed building a partnership with this amazing
animal and seeing him develop into the amazing star that he is
today. Arthur is the gentle giant in the barn, he looks forward to
his beauty treatments, having his head scratched EVERYWHERE, and
getting some personal affection from Allison! He is certainly a
mama’s boy!!
Destination Known
"Burger",
as he is known in the barn, is a 17.0 hand tall,
grey American Thoroughbred gelding born in 1998.
Burger’s consistent performance and spectacular show
jumping make him a strong candidate to represent the
U.S. in the future.
Burger’s 2007 season was nothing short of
exceptional. Competing at the Intermediate level
this year, his major accomplishments included a Gold
Cup win at Richland Park's CIC** and finishing in
second place on his dressage score at Bromont CCI**
in Canada. Burger's 2008 spring season confirmed his
talent as an Advanced horse, with a spectacular run
at Red Hills Horse Trials, and an outstanding 6th
place finish at Jersey Fresh CCI***. Burger finished
his 2008 season with an impressive 4th place finish
at the Fairhill International CCI*** and was the
2008 USEA Reserve Champion Horse of the Year.
The 2009 Season is off to a great start being named
to the USET Training List. Burger will compete at
Bromont CCI*** in Canada in the spring and hopes to
make his Four Star debut at Pau CCI**** in France
this fall.
Everyone enjoys Burger's clowning personality.
Burger relishes life! He enjoys all the attention he
can get and loves pestering others. Burger is a VERY
hungry horse and has an incredible internal clock…
he let’s the girls know when feed time is!!
Currently, there is a syndicate being formed to help Allison keep
Burger in the barn and to help support their Olympic endeavors
together. Please contact Allison for more information if you would
like to be a part of this exciting horse's future.
Tiamo
"Ti" is a 2002 16.2 hand thoroughbred by the
Canadian stallion A Fine Romance. Owned by Kaiti
Saunders and bred by Gail Rogers and Robby Johnson,
Tiamo has his own internet "fan club" who have
followed his story since his birth and the tragic
death of his dam from colic several days later.
This fancy youngster already shows he has inherited
his sire's jumping ability and flashy movement. His
easy mind and athleticism make him a strong prospect
for the upper levels. Allison backed Tiamo in late
2005, and gently introduced him to eventing in 2006,
where he placed first in his first beginner novice
event at Seneca in September and won again at novice
at Rubicon. In 2007, Tiamo easily moved up to
Training level after handily winning his first
Novice outing of the year. Showcasing his
sensibility and level-headedness, Tiamo not only
placed successfully with Allison throughout the
year, but won his Training division at MCTA with his
amateur owner. Tiamo finished out the year with the
highest jumping score of all the 5 year olds in the
Young Event Horse Championships, and by placing in
the ribbons at Maryland Horse Trials and at Rubicon.
Tiamo’s 2008 season has started very successfully,
finishing 2nd at his first two events in very strong
company and making his successful debut at
Preliminary level. Possible plans for the year
include a CCI*.
A Jack of Hearts

"Jack" is a 2001 16.2 hand thoroughbred gelding by the Canadian
stallion A Fine Romance. Owned by Eric and Sheryl Williams, this
outstanding gelding shows signs of truly being a horse for the
future. New to Allison’s string in 2007, Jack’s outstanding scope
and athleticism showcase a horse with almost limitless potential.
Jack’s 2008 began with strong outings at Training level and a
successful entry at Preliminary. Plans for the year include a move
up to the Intermediate level and a fall CCI**.
Jack’s innate confidence and self assurance make him a welcome
presence in the barn, and his striking looks mean he attracts loads
of attention.
Mozart

"Mo" is 2002 17.1 Irish sport horse by Brandenburg’s Windstar.
This lovely steel gray youngster has big shoes to follow after big
brother Arthur, though his 17.1 hand frame and striking presence
certainly shows he’s inherited the same flashy looks. Owned by Jeff
and Jamie Hedges of Orlean, VA. 2008 was Mozart’s debut year to
eventing. He was second in his first competition – BN at Full Gallop
Farm and was a winner at The Virginia Horse Trials in the novice.
During the summer of 2008 Mozart successfully moved up to the
Training level placing 3rd at the Maui Jim Wayne Horse Trials. In
2009 Mozart has moved up to the preliminary level and continues to
be one of the hardest working and enjoyable horses in the barn.
Mozart craves attention from his people just like big brother,
Arthur. He has a very kind heart and a playful soul. He is very
curious about the world and has decided that galloping through the
water is great fun…. Mo definitely loves the cross country phase!
